The Thunder destroyed the Pistons last night after an outstanding defensive performance which held the Pistons to only 83 points. My X-factor before the game was Steven Adams who had a fantastic game with 21 points and was perfect from the free throw line.
The Thunder played energetic defense from the get-go and kept the intensity during the whole game and never game the Pistons a shot at winning this game. The offense was a bit shaky in the first half with Russ having 5 turnovers so they didn’t score a lot of points in that half. Then the 3rd quarter comes and the Thunder came out flying with incredible defense but also great offense as they outscored the Pistons 37-19. Going in to the 4th quarter, the Thunder had a 28 point lead and had sealed the game and played the bench almost the whole quarter and ended up winning the game with 27.
This was a fantastic overall defensive performance from the Thunder from every player on the team which is really promising to see going forward.
